April showers bring May Renovations...

A few more steps forward in the big project.  The drywall in the apartment downstairs is nearly complete.  The taper has to come in now and make it all nice for painting.  Once that is complete we will lay the flooring and we're almost home free.  Nick has been installing the new windows which involves enlarging the holes because the new window's he's chosen will add a lot of light to the space.  The bathroom got a new window, the kitchen will as well and the living room will, too.  We've taken down the horrific chain-link fence along the creek.  We've also planted some bushes in pots by the front door.  Onward...
