The Kitchen Mock-Up

We took the old cabinets from the original kitchen and laid out a mock-up of what we envision the new kitchen to look like.  At first we hadn't plan on having a peninsula sticking out into the hallway but it was good solution to the problem of counter top space.  We realized after making this mock-up that we needed more counter space and more cabinet space.  We also were able to get a sense of how the movement in the room would be.  A great idea that was worth taking the time to put together.  We've actually made some more framing and wiring progress since these photos...more to come.
